Newly elected Student Representative Council members for 2021 – 2022 sworn in

The Aga Khan Academy Mombasa’s newly elected Student Representative Council (SRC) for the 2021 – 2022 academic year were today sworn in to their respective positions at a ceremony led by Senior School Principal Francis Kariuki. 

“For the coming year, our vision is to create diverse platforms through events and activities that will encourage students to continue to develop holistically," said SRC Presidents Ayaan and Zahra. "We would like to prioritize the mental well-being of our peers, as the past year has been challenging owing to the pandemic."

The council is led by two co-presidents and consists of four main committees: the Academic committee, the Action committee, the Expression committee and the Well-being committee with representatives from each grade making up each of these committees.
