Student Exchange 2019: The Journey Begins

The Aga Khan Academies Student Exchange 2019 is fully underway! Over the next three months, 35 students from the Academies in Mombasa and Hyderabad will ‘exchange’ places, beginning a journey of self-disovery in a new environment.

While working on his "Personal Project" – an in-depth research-based project – for his International Baccalaureate studies at the Academy, Ziyaan Virji, DP2, was surprised to learn that 500 million girls across the world do not have access to the necessary menstrual health resources they require.

Students Attend Ryerson University DMZ Sandbox Basecamp

The Aga Khan Academies are once again collaborating with Ryerson University in the Ryerson DMZ Basecamp programme. Young entrepreneurs will spend 6 weeks in an intensive boot camp to develop, market and accelerate their business ideas. Students will participate in seminars covering different aspects of starting a successful business for example sales, marketing and negotiation. They will gain valuable feedback from industry experts, influencers and veteran entrepreneurs.
