AKA Dhaka organises IB DP1 subject selection fair
Parents and students then navigated through the various subject stations set up in the Senior School Library, where they explored the exciting academic possibilities offered by the DP curriculum. The Academy's dedicated staff were on hand at each station to share their expertise and provide guidance on the various subject areas, helping students and parents make informed decisions about their future academic pursuits.
The event concluded with an interactive question and answer session, during which students and parents had the opportunity to raise any concerns or clarify any doubts they had about the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the subject selection process. The Academy's staff eagerly addressed the participants' queries, ensuring that all attendees left the event with a clear understanding.
Mr Wajid Shah, a parent who attended the fair, expressed his excitement about the educational journey that his daughter is about to embark on with the DP curriculum at the Academy.
“The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka seems to be a state-of-the-art facility; I have not seen anything like this in Bangladesh,” Mr Wajid Said. “I actually switched my kids from a different school to the Academy, hoping to get them enrolled in the IB system, so this is something that we have been looking forward to for years. We are pleased that the Academy has arranged this fair; It has been really informative for all of us.”
