AKA Dhaka receives IB DP authorisation
Led by the Academy’s Dean of Studies and Curriculum Ms Mou Maiti, Senior School Principal Ms Fahmida Chowdhury and the DP Coordinator Ms Usha Kasana, the Academy went through a rigorous and comprehensive process to meet the stringent requirements set forth by the IB Organisation. The visiting team recognised the hard work of the Academy’s Senior School staff and leadership team as they highlighted how the DP practices at the Academy are perfectly aligned with the requirements of the IB standards and procedures.
“This authorisation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” Ms Mou said. “It further strengthens our commitment to providing an exceptional educational environment for our students.”
The IB DP prepares students aged 16-19 for success at university and life beyond by addressing the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The DP equips students with the knowledge and skills to effectively participate in a rapidly evolving and increasingly global society, ensuring they become ethical and pluralistic leaders of tomorrow. The programme has gained recognition and respect from prestigious universities across Bangladesh and the world.
