Grade 9 students meet a creative professional
Grade 9 students at the Aga Khan Academy Dhaka welcomed a creative advertisement professional, Mr Tanveer Rahman, to the campus on 9 October to learn more about thinking outside the box while delivering business impact with limited resources.
Mr Rahman is the creative head of Mighty Byte, a reputed full-service advertisement agency in Bangladesh. During the engaging session, Mr Rahman shared how to create campaigns for targeted audiences with a limited budget, highlighting the importance of context in advertisements, such as the timing or date ads distributed, and revealed the true definition of products and brands.
Adiba Tuba, a Grade 9 student, found the session insightful and said the speaker encouraged them to “think outside the box to create moving ads”. Another student agreed with her.
“In a world where everyone stands for portraying themselves, creativity is the key to standing out and making a lasting impression,” said Areebah Ahsan, a Grade 9 student.
Ms Tahmina Begum, a Middle Years Programme English teacher, was happy about the session.
“The students got hands-on experience of creative thinking from an industry expert,” Ms Tahmina said. “I am sure they will be able to link the learnings from this session to their academic lessons.”
