The Academy is a Microsoft Mentor School

The Academy has been selected by Microsoft as one of only 80 outstanding Mentor Schools worldwide and is the only school in Kenya to receive this prestigious award.  Our application was submitted by Mr Gioko Anthony, Vice-Principal Professional Development and Outreach, and the judging panel of a group of independent education experts commented that it was clear that as a school leader, Mr Gioko is dedicated to improving student outcomes and mentoring other school leaders in the community. They also mentioned that the Academy’s passion for innovative teaching and learning shone through in the submission. We feel very proud of the work undertaken by our Professional Development Centre, and are delighted that it and its principal have achieved this well-deserved recognition.
