AKA, Mombasa "Voices for Change" at Baraka FM

On Saturday, 15 November 2014 our talented Senior School Choir, the Voices for Change, were invited to the Baraka FM studios to perform and give interviews on their exciting accomplishments. The choir, led by Mary Favor, has had a lot of publicity recently since their appearance on live national television last month. As if that wasn’t enough, the choir later went on to perform at the Top 40 Under 40 Summit, where women who are pioneers in their fields were recognized for their efforts.

The choir has been receiving a lot of buzz since they have started performing on such a large stage, and they even released a special Christmas album last year to commemorate the school’s tenth anniversary, which is available to purchase at the Academy. They have been invited to perform at other events this year, and we are sure they will bring down the house down as usual. Congratulations AKA, M Voices for Change! Keep excelling!
