Book Month 2020

The month of March kicks off AKA Mombasa's Book Month with various activities happening across the entire Academy. 

In Junior School, the students will have an author, Zoya, visit on 5 March. She is the author of Life's Little Magical Formulas, which consists of five short stories teaching students about following their morals. A Character Day will also be held for JS on Friday, 20 March, where all JS students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite fictional character from a book.

In Senior School, the librarians will waive any fine or overdue books returned, and if a student checks out a fiction book, they will receive a bookmark of their choice during this month.

For both Junior and Senior School, a Book Fair will take place from 19-20 March, which will include an array of books for students and staff to purchase.
