Domnic Ogemba: Our new Examinations and Data Coordinator
Domnic Ogemba, who was born and raised in Kenya, joins the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa as the new Examinations and Data Coordinator, and will be responsible for the administrative and logistical organisation of both internal and external assessments as well as academic data analysis. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Egerton University and has spent the last four years working with the Aga Khan Education Service in Mombasa coordinating ICT projects.
Through his position, Domnic said he hopes to have a significant impact on how exams are administered, especially through the integration of technology and automation of processes. “I am going to work on improving the efficiency and accuracy of the work we will be doing.”
Domnic plans to uphold the vision and mission of the Academy by ensuring that there is a smooth process which allows for exams to be well coordinated and that results come out in a timely manner.
Domnic’s favourite part of the Academy so far is the serene working environment, amazing facilities, and the friendly, supportive colleagues. He said feels honoured to be part of the AKA Mombasa community and looks forward to growing and interacting with everyone.
“I am privileged and ecstatic to join this community and I hope everyone will accept me with my strengths and weaknesses and help guide and nurture me. I can’t wait to interact with everyone and hopefully form meaningful and lasting relationships.”
