Green wins Seniors 2010 Inter-House Gala

On Wednesday 3rd November 2010, the senior school swimming gala was held and Green House emerged the overall winners in a very competitive Gala after collecting a total of 2240 points ahead of Yellow with 2140 points, Blue 2090 and Red garnered 1720 points.

In the boy’s category, Green won the Best Boys Team Trophy by collecting 1150 points, ahead of Blue who collected 1110 points. Yellow were placed 3rd with 1070 points while Red collected 770 points. In the girls category, Yellow House took the Best Girls Team Trophy with 850 points while Green with 810 were placed 2 nd, Red were 3rd with 760 points and Blue were 4th with 730 points.

In the Water polo matches Blue and Yellow collected 80 points each, while Green and Red got 40 points each. In the mixed events Green got 240, Blue 170, Red 140 and Yellow managed to get 140 points.

The captains of the four houses together with the House Teachers worked hard to co-ordinate their teams and produce a healthy competitive atmosphere.

Yellow House Captains are Lora Taylor and Heisei. Red House has Mitchelle Tiren and Ian Mung’aro while Green has Alisha Hirani and Vijay Subramanian . Blue has got Maria Vischi and KarimKawambwa.
