Internship Fair
Student Leadership and Service-Learning Co-ordinator, Kauthar Mohamed set up the fair in a one-on-one speed dating style to make the discussions more intimate and personal. “This set-up allowed the students presenting to have a meaningful and more in-depth discussion on their journeys. It also makes the participants feel more engaged and in turn, they ask more personalised and specific questions,” said Kauthar of the new set-up.
During the internships and the fair, students had the opportunity to draw connections between what they have learned in and out of the classroom, including implementing the Aga Khan Strands in everyday life. Kauthar added, “it is very important to give the students who underwent their internship journey, a platform to speak about their journey, embrace their success and empower the younger DP students with knowledge and tools that they will need when their time comes.”
