Kelvin Sianzwi: Our new Academy Fellow
In addition to using his talent and experience to transfer musical knowledge to students and staff, Kelvin also hopes to build a strong connection with his dorm family. “I hope to establish good rapport between my residential kids and I so I can ensure that they feel confident enough to share important issues that they need help on and make the most of their time in their academics and extracurriculars.”
As an Academy Fellow, Kelvin said he plans to plan to uphold the mission and vision of the Academy by supporting the students’ growth. “I look forward to sharing, to the best of my ability, all the knowledge I have acquired as an international scholar, especially since I believe such knowledge is important in guiding the students to navigate the changing world.”
Kelvin’s favourite part of the Academy so far has been the warm, welcoming people he’s met. “I think all the staff are amazing, and it makes me excited to be here and work with everyone, said Kelvin. “I love the AKA Mombasa community and I look forward to learning and growing together with everyone.”
