Meet Charles Sebalinga: Our new Economics and Global Politics teacher
Charles Sebalinga, who is from Kampala, Uganda, is joining AKA Mombasa as an Economics and Global Politics teacher in the Diploma Programme. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies with Education from Kyambogo University and a Master of Science in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Martyrs University. He previously worked as the Assistant International Baccalaureate Coordinator, Head of Humanities and teacher of Economics at the Aga Khan High School, Kampala.
In his position, Charles said he plans to uphold the mission and vision of the Academy through inquiry-based teaching and learning. “I believe in creating a classroom environment where students are free to express their ideas thus building upon knowledge and making them life-long learners.”
Charles’ favourite part about the Academy is the hospitality he has received from everyone, which he said makes him feel so comfortable.
