Parents Workshop

A workshop on Action in the PYP and Service Learning at the Academy will take place on Thursday 7^th April at 5.00pm to 6.00pm and will be repeated on Friday 8^th April at 9.00am to 10.00am. This is a workshop which focuses on a fundamental part of learning at the Aga Khan Academy and  will be facilitated by Alex Holland, the Academies Unit Curriculum Manager and Zohra Lakhani, Manager of Student Leadership Programmes.  

Workshop Descriptor

Action in the PYP fosters students' self-awareness, initiative, and leadership. In this workshop we will explore the philosophy of Action at the Aga Khan Academy, understand how our students extend their learning through service to their communities, and consider how this evolves as students move through the school. We welcome you to take this opportunity to learn how you can support your child as they work to put their learning into practice, and take action to make the world a better place.
