Runway to Relief

On Saturday evening, a large audience in the Academy Commons was treated to a superb fashion show, all modelled by Academy students, and all in the good cause of raising funds for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.

Showcasing fashion by Shenu Hooda, the audience saw a dazzling display of flowing gowns embellished with beading and stones and also a collection of shorter, equally elegant pieces.  The men’s fashion, stylishly modelled by DP2 students, featured an eclectic collection of trousers by designer Mohamed Bana.

The second half featured DJ Barney Barrow with the large audience enjoying the opportunity to celebrate.  Congratulations to the CanCare Team for their enterprise and to the many sponsors who generously supported this colourful and enjoyable evening’s entertainment.
