Service Learning Spotlight- Sarah Wulff
Every Saturday, from 7:00 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening, Sarah, a day scholar, spends her time nursing, caring for, and learning about Colobus, Vervet, and Sikes monkeys, baboons and even bush babies. Sarah’s work with the Colobus Conservation Trust in her hometown of Diani has connected her to her community and the issues that impact both humans, animals, and our shared habitats. She has learned about animal habits, how to perform basic veterinary skills, the dangerous human practices that impact the monkeys (such as stoning and habitat destruction), and most importantly, she has fostered her passion for animals.
Sarah’s advice for Service Learning?
“You should do what you love.”
