AKA Hyderabad architect to receive Padma Shri award
Dr. Bimal Patel, winner of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1992, will be conferred the prestigious civilian award for his contributions to urban design, urban planning and academics.
Theatre group performs in Hyderabad city on Saturday 18th May
"Sleeping Cinderella Aur Ek Chor Ki Family" - an original, multilingual play in 10 languages will be performed by students at 6:45pm in the Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium, Nampally. Spread the word!

Students from Telangana Social Welfare Residential School get admission at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad
After a careful analysis of the Talent Identification data, all assessments were held before the lockdown, the Academy has finalised and offered a place to two candidates for the academic year 2020-21. These two students will be fully sponsored by donors, who have generously agreed to fund their education from Grade 7 through to graduation.

Upon graduation on 24thMay 2014, students from Aga Khan Academy (AKA) Hyderabad will continue their educational journeys at some of the world’s most reputed post-secondary institutions.
Members of this year’s graduating class have received offers from top-ranked universities in Canada, India, the United Kingdom and the United States. McGill University and the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada, and New York University (NYU), the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Purdue University in the United States, as well as the universities of Warwick and Southampton in the United Kingdom are amongst the many that have offered admission to members of this year’s graduating class.
