Teacher’s Day – 5 September 2016
Academy Junior School will celebrate with a Student Council morning assembly with fun arts and crafts workshops for teachers in the afternoon. Senior School IB Diploma students will be supervising younger classes as part of their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) contribution.
Celebrating our bilingualism - Hindi Diwas – 14th September 2016
Join the Academy Junior School for Hindi Diwas to celebrate the historic occasion when written Hindi using Devanagari script was approved as an official language in 1949. Hindi Exhibition in the Junior School Library this week. Visitors welcome!
Model United Nations (MUN) @ the Academy – 16-17 September 2016
350 students from Academy Senior School Grades 9-12 will participate in our intra Academy MUN this weekend. Opening Ceremony at 5pm, Friday. MUN program to close with a Cultural Night on Saturday.
Mental Health Awareness Week @ the Academy – 19-23 September 2016
Actively promoting de-stigmatisation and mental well-being for staff and students through informative assemblies; poster competitions; quizzes/prizes; exposure to art & pet therapy; mindfulness sessions and bullying awareness sessions across Junior and Senior Schools.
