New Enrichment Timings
Enrichment days will be scheduled within school days on every Monday and Wednesday. Buses will depart from the Academy at 3:30 PM on all school days (Monday-Friday).

Academies student exchange launched
Year 8 students and parents are encouraged to apply for the inaugural student exchange to Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad! Applications are due by May 6 at 6 pm. For questions, email student.exchange@agakhanacademies.org
Outreach Programmes
In developing the Academy here in Mozambique, particular emphasis has been placed on community outreach and service.
Through the Professional Development Centre concept, we have been promoting best practices in teaching and learning by providing ongoing training of teachers and head teachers from neighbouring government primary schools.
Two programmes are currently underway.
The first, in collaboration with the Aga Khan University's Institute for Educational Development, is an educational leadership and management programme leading to full recognition and certification for participants.
The second is a programme for teachers of English, designed to improve the teachers' language ability and also their classroom practice.
Currently, 17 schools and over 30 educators are involved in our programmes.

The Aga Khan Academies frequently host International Baccalaureate (IB) workshops for interested individuals in a number of regions.

The Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, a programme of the Aga Khan Development, is the first in a global network of 18 planned Academies.

Weekly Menu
Our menu consists mostly of fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy fats, proteins, grains, and calcium and vitamin-rich foods. This menu was designed to ensure a well-rounded, healthy and balanced diet that is low in salt and fats, thus creating the habit of healthy eating as well as providing a fun and interesting experience for our kids.
A nossa ementa para crianças comporta fruta e vegetais frescos, gorduras saudáveis, proteínas, leguminosas e alimentos ricos em cálcio e vitaminas. Esta ementa foi concebida para garantir uma diteta saudável e equilibrada com baixo teor de sal e gorduras, cirando, assim, hábito alimentares saudáveis e proporcionar uma experiência divertida e interessante para as nossas crianças.

2016 Yearbook Arrives This Week!
It is with great pleasure that The Academy announces the unveiling of its much awaited 2016 Yearbook. The 2016 Yearbook Team has spent 4 months working hard to capture the essence and significance of life at The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad this year, working with designers and writers, both internal and external. The 2016 Yearbooks will be presented to students, staff and Academy families on Tuesday 31st May at the last Senior School Assembly of this 2015-16 academic year.
