York University will hold an information session for grade 12 students from 12:20 – 1:50 p.m. to talk about opportunities at their colleges.
Academy annual international careers fair - Friday 5th October
40 universities from nine countries are visiting campus on the last day of term to interact with students & parents of all grades between 1-3pm at the Student Lounge.
Parent-Teacher Meeting - Friday 5th October 2018
Parents from grades 6-12 are encouraged to meet their children's grade leaders and subject tutors between 9am - 3pm at the Academy Senior School.
Annual ShakeOut drill - 9am, Tuesday 30th October
All staff and students will participate in the "drop, cover and hold on" earthquake drill promoted by the AKDN and aimed at better disaster preparedness.
Junior School football teams compete for first time!
12 girls and 12 boys from grades 4-5 will take part in football tournaments at Indus International School between 31st October - 2nd Nov.
Children's Day - Wednesday 14th November
Annual celebrations on Jawaharlal Nehru's birth anniversary, with faculty performing skits, songs & dances for students at Commons, 3:30pm.
Annual Junior School musical - 6:30pm Friday 30th November
An original production created & directed by PYP faculty, "Change Makers" is an outdoors performance involving all students from grades 1-5. Open to parents and their guests!
Camping on campus - 30th November - 1st December 2018
52 grade 9 students and 10 teachers will be camping on school grounds from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Students have a list of fun activities planned including capture the flag and a bonfire.
