The Hindu: Creating leaders for civil society
The Hindu features the story of Salim, a student from a small Kenyan village who is benefiting from a free of cost world-class education, in the international and culturally rich environment of The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa. Salim’s story illustrates how the Academy strives to give exceptional students of all socio-economic backgrounds an all-round education so that they become the leaders of civil society.
The President's Award-Kenya
Two of Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa’s DP2 students Sumera Yego and Magdalena Gakuo have won The President's Award-Kenya (PA-K) this year.
Sumera and Magdalena were presented the award by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House Nairobi on 07 October. The two AKA, Mombasa students have made us all proud by setting a new record of being the first candidates to have achieved the Gold level of the award programme online.
Moiz Rajwani: Video Spotlight
Through the inquiry-based International Baccalaureate curriculum, the Aga Khan Academies aim to develop young individuals who will have the capacity to lead and to build strong civil democratic societies in the future.

The Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad is now accepting applications for admission to the upcoming academic year, starting in August 2025.
