Annual medical camp: Wednesday 10 - Friday 12 January
The Aware Gleneagles Global Hospitals is conducting a health camp for all students, faculty and admin staff between 9:30am - 5pm on all three days.
Eco-ambassadors visit Organo collective – Saturday 13th January
70 IB MYP residential students will visit organic farms to bring back and implement their learning at the Academy, which is an IGBC platinum rated Green School.
Early departure – 2:30pm on Tuesday 16th January
Due to an Academy-wide faculty training session, all students will leave campus early on Tuesday. Please make necessary pick-up arrangements.
Ivy Akinyi: Video spotlight
Introducing Ivy, a student at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa. Her innate drive for self-growth and desire to give back to the community makes her a true home-grown leader.
Sadiq Issa: Video spotlight
Meet Sadiq, a student at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa. Open-mindedness, confidence and time management are some of the many characteristics he has developed at the Academy that will help him achieve his dream of becoming a journalist.
IB MYP Personal Project expo: 10am – 3pm, Saturday 20th January
72 grade 10 students will showcase their personal projects at our annual exhibition, demonstrating innovation in global contexts. All faculty, admin staff and parents welcome!
Linden University Tour - 2-4pm, Wednesday 31st January
7 US universities will interact with DP students and faculty through counselling sessions and workshops. IE Business School from Madrid will also be presenting simultaneously.
Academy Showcase Week kicks off today - Monday 5th March, amphitheatre
Choir and music extravaganza at 5:45pm, followed by "Charandhas Chor," the annual summer theatre production at 6:30pm by MYP drama students. Open to all!
