The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa students have exceeded expectations this year by winning four first place awards at the 89th edition of the Kenya Music Festival held early August in Kisumu.
The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa, has broken new ground with the first ever Swahili – English version of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for the International Baccalaureate.
This year’s graduating class is the most successful in AKA, Mombasa history, scoring an average of 34.4 points and earning over $4.1 million in scholarships and financial aid.
For the past three years, the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa has hosted the KRCS Luncheon Party. This year, in addition to the fifty-year celebration of the Kenya Red Cross, they also celebrated the 35th Annual Luncheon Party.
Last week the Coast Regional Music Festival culminated on 3rd July, 2015, with the Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa’s Voices for Change emerging head and shoulders over the rest of the participants.
