AKA, Hyderabad Students Win Model UN Delegate Awards
Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad students represented the school at the Model United Nations (MUN) organised by Oakridge International School, Hyderabad from 26–28 September 2014 and managed to mark their presence by winning accolades.
The purpose of MUN is for students to achieve a real world understanding not only of the United Nations (UN), but also of important global concerns. There was also a subsidiary body which acted as media (Press Corps) covering the discussions and debates of the conference and publishing their reports in a daily newsletter. The students of the Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad represented the countries of Iraq, Latvia and Jordan within their respective committees.
