AKA Hyderabad wins both trophies at PYP Swimming Meet

On the 4th and 5th of March the Aga Khan Academy in Hyderabad hosted the annual PYP Network Swimming Meet. With schools joining us from in and around Hyderabad and over forty students competing in over 25 races, it promised to be two days of serious competition!

Students competed in a wide variety of races including breaststroke, freestyle, backstroke and a medley relay. The girls kicked off the competition on the 4th of March with closely fought races, especially amongst the Grade 5 competitors! The boys followed on the 5th of March with an equally competitive display of swimming! 

The Aga Khan Academy won both the girls and boys overall trophies, with Sreenidhi International School coming in as runners up in the girls competition and the Silver Oaks International School taking runners up in the boys competition.
