Entrepreneurship Club in top form
The Academy’s Entrepreneurship Club hosted Grand Fiesta, a recreational event geared at raising money for service activities, on Sunday, 4th February. This was the second of three installments, the first of which was held in November 2017. The cumulative proceeds raised by these events will be used for CAS projects.
This month’s Grand Fiesta included carnival games, food, and a FIFA tournament. The tournament was described by Aman Nurani, grade 11, as the centrepiece of the event.
The students who helped organise the event said they got to practice leadership skills such as delegation and team building. Members of the club said they’d like to use the experience they gained from this event to create socioeconomic change in the real world. The club is already excited about their next event, which they hope will be their biggest yet.
The Entrepreneurship Club wanted to thank their CAS coordinator Mr. Venkat, Dean of Marketing Mr. Imran, Dean of Students Mr. Suresh, their logistics team and everyone else who came together for the special day. “They were the heart and soul of the event,” said Aman.
