Academy students won a total of five awards at the Hyderabad City League football tournament held between 9th September - 6th November 2017.
AKAH students participated in an inter-school football league organised by the Hyderabad Football Academy, a partner of ISL Kerala Blasters.
The closing ceremony was hosted by Oakridge International School on Monday 6th November.
Students were divided into two groups – Under 14 and Under 16 – and 16 teams comprised each age category.
The Academy's under-14 boys’ teams hailed as the Hyderabad City League champions, winning all seven matches. Our students scored 32 goals against the competition.
The under-16 boys’ team won five matches and earned the position of third place overall.
Medals awarded are as follows:
- Karim of grade 9 was awarded Best Player and Most Promising Player of the entire league.
- Tawfiq of grade 8 was awarded Highest Scorer of the U – 14 league. He scored 17 goals in total.
- Faiz of grade 9 was awarded Best Goalkeeper.
- Rahil of grade 10 was awarded Highest Scorer of the U – 16 league. He scored 14 goals in total.
