Introducing Ramesh Kumar - our new Physical Education teacher

My career has been a blend of assignments in Physical Education Management and Leadership, based on which I have diversified experience in both. Being the son of an Army officer who has served in different parts of India and abroad, has also helped shape my thought process.

I graduated from LNUPE, Gwalior, one of the best universities in physical education in the country. This was followed by a Master of Physical Education and a Master of philosophy. I have been associated with International Baccalaureate schools for the last 15 years, which includes Pathways World School, Aravali, Genesis Global School, Noida, GMIS Bali, and Jakarta. The Aga Khan Academy is an incredible institution with a diverse and multicultural community, that along with the huge 100-acre campus attracted me to work with the Academy. 

Before joining Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad, I served Kings College India for three years as a Head of PE. I am also an IB Diploma program examiner for Sports, Exercise and Health Sciences- Extended Essay and also a Curriculum reviewer.

I look forward to taking up this job with a sense of responsibility and I will enjoy the challenge of a new situation.
