Junior School Parents' Day 2013

On 14 September, the Junior School welcomed the parents for the occasion of Parents' Day.

This year’s edition of Parents' Day began with an assembly, where the parents were addressed by John Puddefoot, Head of Academy. 

Following Mr Puddefoot’s welcome, the Junior School Principal, Ms Rima Singh also gave a speech.

The Primary Years Programme Coordinator, Ms Sreelatha Kumar, took this opportunity to make a presentation about the IB Learner Profile and answer questions.

After this introductory session in the Academy Building, the parents made their way to the Junior School. 

They visited the classrooms and enjoyed seeing their children’s work. They also had the opportunity for discussion with the Junior School teachers.

The day came to a close with light refreshments, which were welcomed by the parents, and the launch of the new Academy hoodies, which were available for sale.
