Senior School Visual Arts Exhibition 2015
The Aga Khan Academy, Hyderabad proudly presented the Senior School Visual Arts Exhibition on 19 March 2015 in the Commons. The visitors had a chance to see many exemplary artworks created by our Senior School students from the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. The opening ceremony was inaugurated by Mrs. Jaya Baheti, an artist of repute from Hyderabad and Mr. Salim Bhatia, Director of the Aga Khan Academies.
Mr. Salim Bhatia and Mrs. Jaya Baheti addressed the students and appreciated their excellent efforts and sparkling creativity. The exhibition remains open until 20 March 2015.
From modern art to Indian art, from folk art to crafts, from mosaics to creating art on stools, from sculptures to installations, from posters to landscapes and from fabric painting to photography, the exhibition had it all. The art exhibition was a colourful and joyous celebration, where our students freely interacted with the artists and soaked in the art atmosphere. People who visited the exhibition were awed by the varied genres and different textures of the paintings.
Expressing appreciation, Mrs. Jaya Baheti said, "I loved the artworks, especially the wide variety and styles covered by the students. They are good and on a way to reach greater heights.”
