High Commissioner of Rwanda to Mozambique visits the Aga Khan Academy Maputo

Through an invitation extended by the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), the High Commissioner of Rwanda to Mozambique His Excellency (H.E.) Claude Nikobisanzwe visited the Aga Khan Academy Maputo on 26 January 2023. 

During the visit, H.E. Mr Nikobisanzwelearnt more about AKDN and its programmes and participated in a tour of the campus, which included the student residences, the sports facilities, the science building and much more. While walking around the Academy’s 22-hectare site, H.E. Mr Nikobisanzwe also interacted with students and staff, learning more about the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum offered at the Academy.

Mr Nikobisanzwe wrote in the Academy’s guestbook. “It’s a good opportunity for me to learn how you are immensely contributing to the education in Mozambique. In fact, you are educating not only the future leaders and policy makers of Mozambique, but also the leaders of the African continent and beyond. Keep up the good work; I commend the dedication of the leadership of the Academy, the staff and the students.”
