Junior School celebrates World Book Day

Junior School students at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo commemorated World Book Day with a special virtual assembly on Friday.
Activities were played during assembly time, which included a guessing game where students were given clues about a fictional character and they had to guess who the character was. In addition, students were divided into groups to discuss their favourite book or a book they are currently reading with their peers and teacher. Students and teachers also showcased their paper headbands they made during the virtual assembly, which featured characters from their favourite book. The assembly concluded with a book reading by one of the teachers.
