Kindergarten 3 Learns About Food

The Kindergarten 3 students have been having fun while learning about growing and making food.

In our last unit, Kindergarten 3 looked at the process food goes through to get to our table. We made some tasty snacks that involved boiling, dissolving, heating and melting. We made fresh orange juice, jelly and Rice Krispie buns. It was yummy!

 

The Kindergarten 3 students have also learned to sow and plant and have been taking very good care of the garden. The plants are growing, and soon we will have vegetables ready to eat!
