Spelling bee / Concurso de ortografia
As part of our ongoing commitment to developing language and literacy skills, AKA Maputo has been holding a spelling bee.
Over several weeks, children in grades 4 to 6 have been given a spelling list for their grade to learn, in order to select their top students. These students then represent their grade at a spelling bee contest held every Friday during assembly, which will culminate in a school championship.
It was grade 4’s turn to participate in the spelling bee. During assembly, in front of all teachers and students, five students competed to qualify for the next round. Congratulations to Thayaka and Oscar for achieving full scores and proceeding to the final.
No âmbito do nosso contínuo compromisso em desenvolver as habilidades da língua e da literacia, os alunos do 4º Ano participaram no concurso de ortografia desta semana. Diante de todos os alunos e professores, na Assembleia, 5 alunos competiram para as qualificações da próxima etapa. Muitos parabens à Thayaka e ao Oscar pela pontuação máxima que obtiveram, assegurando um lugar na final do concurso
