US Ambassador Katz Visits the Academy's Construction Site

The US Ambassador to Portugal, Allan Katz, took time out of his schedule on Monday 4 March to visit the Academy's construction site and professional development centre in Matola.

A strong supporter of the Academies programme, Ambassador Katz sought an update on progress after his wife Nancy's visit to the Academy previously.  

He was pleased to hear that the Academy is opening in August this year and was particularly interested in the talent identification process, currently underway.

Seen here with His Excellency, Nazim Ahmad, the AKDN Representative for Portugal and Mozambique, the Ambassador was in Maputo accompanying a joint US and Portuguese trade mission.
