Following in the footsteps of the Class of 2020, the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa’s Class of 2021 is continuing a fundraiser to raise money for the Academy's Talent Identification Programme.

As our Class of 2021 gets closer and closer to graduation, we are featuring a few soon-to-be graduates from the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad. This spotlight focuses on Aftikhar Mominzada, who joined AKA Hyderabad six years ago from Afghanistan. After graduating from the Academy, Aftikhar will be attending the University of Alberta in Canada with a full scholarship.

The students and staff on campus at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad participated in a mindfulness session while also commemorating Earth Hour 2021.

Sonakshi Roy, a Year 10 student at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa, has created a natural and organic perfume which has a calming effect and provides anxiety relief. The perfume project is inspired by her growing interest in psychology and addressing mental health issues.

As students and teachers transition back to online learning at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo, the Primary Years Programme teachers want to take a moment to appreciate all of the hard work their students have been doing.
