Around 150 students from the Junior School participated in their annual music concert held on Friday, 17th May 2019. The concert featured performances in four different languages highlighting the techniques researched and adapted by students in creating music that took the audience by surprise.
“When we started out, we knew we had to set the standard for what the future would hold. The vision and the philosophy of His Highness the Aga Khan has been taught to us since when we were children; to see a culmination of this in the form of a school that aspires to raise leaders of tomorrow was immensely gratifying."
On a day when students across the world walked out of classrooms to protest climate change, children in Hyderabad took a break from their vacation to raise their voice against the climate emergency.
On Friday 24th May approximately 60 students and six faculty from the Academy participated in demonstrations against government inaction towards the climate crisis as part of the global Fridays for Future movement.
As many as 74 students completed their International Baccalaureate (IB) at the Academy with a formal evening ceremony attended by fellow students, senior management, faculty and staff as well as parents, extended families and invited guests.

Over 70 theatre students from the Academy Senior School performed their original play, 'Sleeping Cinderella Aur Ek Chor Ki Family' at the Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium on Saturday 18th May 2019.
