As per the presidential announcement yesterday, masks are no longer mandatory at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo. All students and staff are recommended to take care of their health and hygiene.
The Junior School and Senior School students at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo celebrated the last day of classes with two special assemblies, respectively, filled with awards, appreciation towards teachers and yummy treats!
The Aga Khan Academy Maputo's Senior School will be hosting a Sports Day for its students. Parents are requested to please have their children wear their PE uniform with their House-coloured t-shirt.
The Early Years programme students will have a Celebration of Learning on Friday, 3 June at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo. KG1 and 2 students will have their ceremony from 11 am-12 pm and KG3 students will have theirs from 1.30-2.30 pm. Additional information will be shared with parents of Early Years students.
From 9-11 May, six students from the Machel Fidus Association visited and stayed at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo where they learned about public speaking, visual arts, design and more.
On 7 May the Aga Khan Academy Maputo hosted a basketball camp – Campo de Desenvolvimento António Azevedo and Hernani Mussa – for 60 students from schools around Mozambique, including seven students from the Academy.
