Students participate in city-wide run
The Freedom Hyderabad 10k and 5K run was held on Sunday 25th November and had over 15,000 participants. Among them were 37 representatives from the Academy, all of whom finished their respective races.
34 students from Senior School and three faculty members participated in the event which was designed to promote running as an exercise among the people of Hyderabad. The Academy’s running club has been very active on campus this year and participated in large numbers at this event.
This is the second 5K run that our students took part in, in 2018. Students at the Academy are encouraged to develop an interest in health and fitness, and we strive to give them the support they need when they participate in competitive events like this one. Participating students and faculty thank transport in-charge, Santhosh Gundeti, kitchen manager, Dhan Prasad, and Head of Operations, David Roy for making it possible for them to participate in this run.
