Happy International Day for Tolerance! Check out this special message from our students at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo on the importance of accepting, respecting and appreciating everyone around us.

Staff, students and parents at the Aga Khan Academy Maputo had the opportunity to meet eminent visitors from Portugal on 23 November 2021, including the Portuguese Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Co-operation, Portuguese Ambassador to Mozambique, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Camões and the Adviser to the Secretary of State.

The Aga Khan Academies aim to develop open-minded and pluralistic leaders by equipping students with the tools and opportunities to create positive change in their local communities. One such leadership opportunity is the Student Representative Council (SRC), a peer-elected student body that strives to represent the voices of students while serving as the liaison between the student body and the administration.
