The Academies Network

The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka is the fourth of a planned network of Aga Khan Academies being established in countries across Africa, South and Central Asia, and the Middle East.

Admission Requirements

The Academy uses a multifaceted assessment in identifying students. The assessments enable students to demonstrate their cognitive, literary, mathematical, creative and leadership abilities.

Admission is competitive and based on student merit.

Nursery School

Kindergarten 1, 2 and 3: Early Years Programme

Students entering Kindergarten 1 must be 3 years of age by 31 July of the year of entry.

Academic Programme

The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka offers an education of an internationally recognised standard of excellence to prepare students to become intellectually curious, globally-minded citizens of the world.

Living on Campus

Residential life at the Academy complements and extends the academic experience. Our residential programme includes a broad selection of activities and leadership opportunities to enhance students’ learning and growth.

Student Leadership

The Academies’ leadership programmes aim to develop students who are ethical, public-minded and who possess a pluralistic outlook.

University Counselling

The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka’s counselling programme will offer students a vast array of resources designed to help them find good matches between themselves and universities/colleges.

International Exchanges

As the network of Aga Khan Academies becomes further established, we will offer our students the opportunity to broaden their experience through exchanges with other Academies.

Aga Khan Curricular Strands

The Aga Khan Curricular Strands(AK Strands) are a unique part of the programme offered by the Aga Khan Academies. The AK Strands are areas of learning aimed specifically at developing knowledge, skills and attitudes required by future leaders.
