Students from the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa participated in the CANA Zone III Championships in Tanzania from 16-20 November, in which they won 41 medals.

The Junior School organised a workshop for its parents to showcase a new approach to teaching mathematics called “Maths – No Problem!” (MNP), which is an award-winning education programme for mathematics.

Junior School students at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa held a music and dance recital on 4 November under the Baobab tree in the Academy's amphitheatre.

Students participate in OA Model United Nations

Middle Years Programme (MYP) students from the Academy attended the 20th Annual OA Model United Nations conference after undergoing rigorous preparation by the Diploma Programme 2 (DP2) student executives. The student-led enrichment has prepared students since the beginning of the academic year, teaching them about Model UN Resolutions, lobbying, motions and what to do during the conference. Junior School students celebrate Navaratri

Our Junior School students had a fun and colourful day celebrating Navaratri! Students dressed up for the day and during the morning assembly, they learned more about the significance of the festival through song and dance, which wrapped up with everyone participating in garba in the quad! Junior School Principal, Nuala Alibhai, tells us more.

Mazingira club wins at International Shows in Nairobi and Mombasa

Thirty-five Mazingira Club members took part in the Nairobi International Trade Fair and Mombasa International Show. The club’s performance in both fairs was outstanding; the students were knowledgeable and confident. They came in second overall in Nairobi and first overall in Mombasa.
