The Aga Khan Academies and Ryerson University have established a partnership to help develop Academies students as part of the next wave of socially conscious young innovators.
A water purifying plant, procured with funds raised by a group of Academy students, was inaugurated on Wednesday 7th March at Mammidpalli’s Zilla Parishad High School.
The Academy's university counselling department held group sessions for all on the university search process during the week of 26th February - 2nd March.
Academy students visited a senior citizens' home and a boys' orphanage as part of the CAS program, coming away with an understanding of issues facing both these communities, and an eagerness to tackle them.
The Academy's Entrepreneurship Club hosted their second successful event on 4th February. The festivities were part of a CAS project to raise money for future service efforts and also to give students organising and management exposure.
