Recently, Ayesha Mehjabeen Rahgir, a Grade 10 student at the Academy visited the US to take part in the Exeter Summer programme at the Philips Exeter Academy.

Grade 9 students of the Academy exhibited an insightful display of artwork connecting with cultural expressions.

The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka celebrates Language Week through various activities to sharpen students' lingual skills and promote pluralism and diversity. The week concluded with a colourful assembly by the senior school students weaving a tapestry of diverse cultural projections.

From pioneering the addition of the International Baccalaureate (IB) e-assessment in Kiswahili when she was the Middle Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator at the Aga Khan Academy (AKA) Mombasa, Esther has now been a part of the introduction of Portuguese into the Middle Years Programme (MYP) at the AKA Maputo. As the current MYP Coordinator, Esther started working on this last year to ensure its success.

The Grade 10 students at the Aga Khan Academy Mombasa scored top marks in their International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) examinations – the Academy’s best IB MYP results to date. The class average per subject stands at 5.12 out of a possible 7, the highest ever scored, with nine students scoring an impressive average of 6.0 and higher.
